Almost Wordless Wednesday

 enjoying the summer sunshine

enough of that, time for some cookies

Don't forget about Bodie.  He went missing from the groomers and hasn't been returned to his family.

And last, please head on over to Facboook and check out the calendar contest for Kauffman's Animal Health Inc.  Kelsey is in the running and it's super simple...all you have to do is "like" Kelsey's picture.  Super easy and super quick.  Thanks!

Kelsey's New Ride

Okay, so I was never going to be one of "those" people who gets a stroller for their dog.  But, I caved.  The main reason I caved is that this stroller gives Kelsey more time to be with me outside...she gets to have her fun time exploring and then she gets a break to relax in her stroller, where she is safe and secure.  Also, the sidewalks here get too hot for Kelsey in the summer, so if we go anywhere, I have to hold her and this definitely helps with that.  At first, Kelsey wasn't too sure about this idea, but now she goes right in the stroller and loves it.  It would also be very convenient for outdoor events-she is so small and she could get trampled or overwhelmed-but the stroller would keep her safe and my hands free for other stuff.  The best part...we got the really nice model and only paid about a third of the price by buying used (it was barely used by the previous owners).  We will post some more pics the next time we have the nice camera.

And please, don't forget to think some good thought for Bodie and his family.  Bodie is still missing and the groomers have not given the family all the needed answers.  You can check my previous post for more details or visit Bodie's page here: Bodie Baerga.  his story even made it to the newsfeed on AOL.

Missing Dog Bodie

We have a post to share today that is a little different.  It is about a missing pup, named Bodie.  My goal here is to share Bodie's story.  On Thursday, Bodie and QTip were dropped off to be groomed in Norco.  The family called to check in on their dogs, but nobody was answering the calls.  When Bodie's family went to pick him up, there was a note on the door to go around back to pick up Bodie and QTip.  QTip was there, but had not even been groomed.  Bodie, however, was nowhere to be found.  At first, they were told someone else might have taken the pup.  The story now is that Bodie may have a partial trim and may have escaped through an open door.  Nobody from the shop ever called to let the family know that their family member, Bodie, had gone missing.  The story from the groomers has also changed several times (about what happened, who knew about the missing dog, and when they knew) and this family deserves some honest answers.  It makes me so sad that this pup isn't with his family.

I am going to share some links to Bodie's story.  I haven't done this before, but I am hoping at least one of these will work.
