Pupcake Time

Kelsey had an adorable pupcake
for her 2nd birthday
(from Le Woof dog bakery).
We LOVE those sprinkles.

Kelsey was not sure if it was okay to dive in.
She asked for permission...what a sweetie.

She tried to gently lick it.
When it fell over, she just stared at me
and waited for some direction.
But, I think she could have licked
that frosting all day!

Awwww.....sweet Simon.
Doesn't he look so cute in his party hat?

Apparently the party hat is just too heavy for Kelsey's little head (not).
Hard work being a diva.

Can we say, "Cookies?!"

This year Kelsey gave out adorable heart-shaped cookies as her party favors
(also from Le Woof).
She had white ones and pink ones and sprinkly ones.  Our favorite said "Paws & Licks" instead of hugs & kisses.

Kelsey loved tearing into her birthday gift.
She got a new stuffed, squeaky, puppy dog toy.

And of course my little girl needs a nap
after all this excitement.

Kelsey is Two!

Apologies in advance.  We did not have great weather for an outdoor party this year.  I had to do her pictures inside with what little light came through the window.

These are pictures of Kelsey and friends with her cake.  We will post some more party pics next time.

This is Kelsey's way cute birthday cake.
Love the fancy writing.

 My good little monkey.
That cake was so tempting; but, she let me take some pictures first.
And that adorable hat was made just for her
by her Grandma!

Kelsey had some decorations this year.
She is not fond of balloons, but she did okay with them this time.

If I smile really big can I eat it?

We caught Kelsey sampling the yummy frosting when she thought we weren't looking.
I let her have at it because she had been so good.

 That tongue says it all.
She loved her cake!
See that smudge on the bottom, right side of the cake-that's where she sampled it.

And here's Simon.  Look at that monster mouth trying to gulp up his cake in one bite.

This one cracks me up.  They were all beyond excited to dig into the cake.  They all went at it so fast.  I love how Kelsey has pushed her plate under Dixie and Simon was following right behind.

(Tucker on the left; Kelsey in the front; Dixie is the big one eating over Kelsey; Simon is hiding in the back)

So excited to have a little party for her.

Somebody is not a huge fan of damp grass.
Or, we could just go with the idea that she is showing off one of her tricks-perhaps waving or shaking hands.

 Love those big puppy eyes.

eyes on the prize

Love her focused, sweet face in this one.
Didn't notice the smudge on the lens
until we were done with pictures.

Kelsey has been enjoying the extra warm and sunny weather.

Ewwwww. . . don't let those bugs get me!

I really have no idea what she was looking at.
Maybe she thought I had dropped a cookie.

Pretty in Pink

Kelsey is such a lucky little girl.  Her Aunt Marylin custom made her this beautiful, pink sweater while she was here visiting.

She even made a ruffly collar for my girly-girl.

No, Kelsey didn't lose a leg.
She's standing on the leg in the right side of the picture and getting ready to hold her other paw up for a "shake" to try and get some more cookies out of me.
I absolutely love her sweet, yet focused eyes on this one.

She was such a perfect little model.
We finally got some more Zuke's treats and she was so ready to work for them.
Kelsey even made two new friends.  She let Aunt Marylin and Cousin Brenda scratch her tummy.  Then, she played with Brenda.  First time that she has been so engaged with someone other than her  mommy or grandparents.

Definitely one of my favorites.
She was very concerned about the rustling bushes in the next yard.  Those puppies must have heard we were giving out cookies and she was not about to share.

Okay, so we finally made it through one set of pictures without seeing that tongue.  But, she still had to be a ham.
"You have got to be kidding me, Mom!"-Kelsey
