Napping

With all our warm weather, I have been enjoying my naps in the sun.  My favorite spot is on the couch by the window.

I have made this cushion perfect for naps.

I tried to take a nap outside too, but Mom said that it was too hot for her toes, so it must be too hot for mine too.  She made me use a blankie.

At first, I didn't want the blankie.  But soon, I was completely passed out.

New Coats

We finally had some chilly weather here and even some light rain (although it has already warmed up again).

Mom got me this new coat since I outgrew my other ones.

This coat has become my favorite because it is so snuggly, warm, and cute (and the hood is removable too).  

Can you tell I was in the mood to model?  I jumped on the sheet and started posing before Mom even had the camera or cookies ready.  It was too wet for outside pictures.

Grandma and Grandpa gave me this cute fleece coat.  I like that it is plenty long enough for me.  Mom says that some of my whiskers are super long in this photo and look like a funny mustache.

And there goes that tongue again.

More Birthday Sharing

These were my party favors for my friends.  Isn't it so cool that one even had my name.  We ordered them from Le Woof and they are peanut butter flavored.  Yum!

This was my 3rd birthday cake.  It smelled and looked good enough for the humans to eat.  We also got this from Le Woof.  They were kind enough to deliver it to us.

I loved licking my birthday candles clean.

Then, I got to open presents.

As you can see, I am pretty much a pro.

Mom got me 2 new outfits, a new toy, and more peanut butter Zuke's (you can never have enough of those treats).

Mom caught me being a party animal.  Usually, I end up with the hat hanging upside down eventually, but I somehow managed to balance it off of my nose this time.  

Birthday Party

 So, I am a few days behind on posts, but I have so many great pictures to share over the next few days.  Our friends, Julie, Tony, and Bella came over one evening to help celebrate Kelsey's 3rd birthday.  All those little boxes are for the doggie cakes that we gave to Kelsey's friends.

Bella (who just turned 2) helped Kelsey blow out her birthday candles.

Somebody was excited to have her very own cupcake!

Kelsey had her own piece of doggie cake and managed to eat it all in one big gulp.

I don't know who had more fun with the treats, Bella or Kelsey?  And, I am so excited because Bella can now say Kelsey's name.  Too cute.

Tony is Kelsey's new BFF.  She loves him and will even ask to be picked up.  This is a huge improvement from the timid little girl I adopted from the shelter 3 years ago.

Tony, Julie, and Bella gave Kelsey some wonderful gifts too.  She loves her Zuke's treats and was so eager to play with her new toy that night.  I want to thank Julie and Tony for helping to make Kelsey's birthday so fun and special.

Valentine's Dress

A little bit of sharing (or oversharing).  Mom is just so excited that we get to borrow the real camera from Grandma.

 This is the dress Grandma and Grandpa gave me for Valentine's Day.  It fits perfectly.

 As you can see, I did not forget my modeling skills and got right back into the swing of things.

 May I have a cookie now, please?

    I even got down in the grass...I think that should get me a couple of extra cookies.
