Cutest Banner Ever!

We welcome and love sharing, but please do not repost or Pin any photographs from this blog without written permission from me first (just send me a message and I will be happy to share).

Hey! What is this thing?
Kelsey is such a lucky girl.  My mom handmade this just for Kelsey and gave it to her back in February as a birthday gift.  I had been wanting one of these for Kelsey.  She even added monkeys to the banner for my little monkey.
 What a little model!
My mom (createwithheart@aol.com) used the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge from Close to My Heart and the Sophia paper pack (it's one of our favorite packs).  Isn't it adorable?!

My mom also made this adorable scrapbook layout with the Sophia paper for my little monkey.  Kelsey has the best Grandma ever.
*The pictures on the layout were taken at Petco.

Toys!

Have I ever mentioned that Kelsey is a toy hoarder?  She absolutely loves her soft, squeaky toys.  And, she is not content to just play with one.    She has an upstairs and a downstairs toy basket that overflows with these things.  She loves pulling them all out and scattering them around the room just as much as she loves actually playing with them.

Of course, she has to have some monkey toys.
This is one of her favorite toy poses...rear end in the air.

When I first adopted Kelsey, she wanted nothing to do with her toys.  In fact, she was completely scared by these squeaky toys.
Now, she can't get enough of them.

And this is her absolute favorite toy pose.  She loves to be on her back and holding her toy with her paws up in the air.  She loves to nibble at them and roll with them.  So cute.  This was hard to capture on camera...she loves pictures so much she always drops the toy to see the camera before I can snap a shot.

Upside down is a good place to be.

Kelsey's Grandma got her all these new toys.  It is so funny because she gets so excited when she gets a new toy.  She runs, pounces, and makes little grumbly noises.

Nap time!

Catching Up With Kelsey

Kelsey has been slacking off lately.
Here is what she has been up to...
She watched a fire from upstairs.  It was in an industrial-type area.  Wooden pallets and rubber tires...so glad we could not smell this one.

Lots of time being a couch potato...
and remote control hog.
She seriously did this on her own.

even more time catching up on her beauty sleep

It takes a lot of work to stay this beautiful.

taking a bath since the weather has warmed up

 What a stinker!
I did not see her do this until I looked at
all the pics on my computer.
I guess we all know what Kelsey thinks of baths.

Priceless!
Mom, can I please be done now?

Drying off on Mom's freshly cleaned blankets.
This was the only one that turned out...she was rolling and nose-diving so much, that all the pics came out blurry, even when I had the "action" mode set on the camera.

Sweet Puppy

Ok, I know I'm her mommy, but I think she might just be the cutest puppy out there.
That little bow just looks so cute on her...thanks cousin Brenda.

Can't a dog get some peace and quiet here?

Kelsey had a great visit with my cousin...wish I had snapped some photos.  Brenda is the first person that Kelsey bonded with right away.  Brenda brought her dog, Southpaw, and Kelsey never even grumbled at him.  She even tried to get him to play.  Hope they can visit again.

Love the expression on this one.
Kelsey learned a new trick over the past few days...roll over.  She is so cute and loves to be speedy with those rolls.  She has also gotten so good at not touching food until I give her release command.
What should she learn next?

She is such a sweetie and I am thankful everyday that she is here with me.
Still can't imagine who could have
abandoned/hurt such a sweet, mellow, and
smart girl.
