Couch Potato

Kelsey has been taking full advantage of the couch and the pillows lately.  It has been way too hot to do much of anything outside.  Kelsey gets hot way too fast and it's just too hot for her little paws.  She is loving visiting her neighbor friend who has a front porch that has lots of shade in the evening.  She gets to watch everything going on and make friends too.

On another note, I am so thankful for having Kelsey safe with me.  We had a burglar scare last week when we heard someone breaking into a neighbor's home.  When the burglar left, he came into our backyard and had us pretty frightened.  He was caught a couple of hours later.  I am so thankful that he didn't come into our home and I have me sweet Kelsey.

New Blankie

Kelsey is definitely a fan of having blankies to snuggle at all times.  We usually get the fleece baby blankets, but they are a little warm for the summer.  I saw this sweet monkey blankie and had to get it for my little monkey.  As I was taking off the tags, I called Kelsey over to see it.  She immediately curled up (and then I covered her) and went right to sleep.

This is where Kelsey likes to chill while I am using the computer.  How could I ever get up and do anything else with a sleepy puppy like this?

Patriotic Puppy

Kelsey is rocking her new tutu.  

We got the LAST one the store had, which also happened to be a bit too big.  As she prances around in her tutu, it slowly works its way down to her tail...too funny.  I'm thinking we should make her a matching bow for her hair (or her Grandma should, since I don't have the crafting gene).
